The BIMAL dd edible oil production plant in Brčko is the main operating company of BIMAL Group and is ranked among the modern oils that through the combination of people and automatic management managed to modernize the production of edible oil from the seeds of all three oilseeds, sunflowers, soybeans and rapeseed.
BIMAL Company is implementing the production of edible oil from the receipt of raw materials to the finished product. With a production capacity of 120,000 mt and a storage capacity of 100,000 m3 of raw materials, BIMAL dd sells more than 150,000 tonnes of products a year. Although, BIMAL is an export-oriented company, as an important player in the chain of the largest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it equally stands for the quality of domestic products, which on the one hand respects all production standards in the country where the BIMAL Group’s production center is located, which, on the other hand, and the quality and production systems of foreign markets to which it is exported.
With the postulate that quality does not allow compromises, the mission of BIMAL Group is to provide consumers with a wide range of high-quality products from sunflower, soybeans and rapeseed seeds, both in domestic and export markets, using modern technology and knowledge. The company operates according to five international standards, including ISO 9001: 2015, IFS, ISCC, Kosher, Halal. Company BIMAL dd is a member of the Danube Soybean Associaton, which confirms the company’s commitment to production without GMO products. From the collection of raw materials to packaging, each step of production is monitored and documented through 150 internal controls. Products in the BIMAL plant are also checked organoleptically, i.e. sensual control by the quality control department, in order to obtain the desired smell, taste and appearance.
