Considering that the market of smart phones is in continuous expansion and that smart phones based on Android operation system cover over 70% of that market, as in Serbia so the worldwide, we can conclude that Android smart phones became one new, insufficiently utilized media.

For this reason, our company established a cooperation with one of leading Scandinavian companies in the field of development, implementation and consulting services related to IT, EuroComp Computer Systems AB from Gothenburg – Švedska.

In cooperation with international partner we designed Android application intended for presentation and promotion of cities. Besides information on touristic, business and cultural contents offered by the application, it could be used as a media providing users with actual information and news regarding the city administration and could be updated on daily basis and if needed, even every hour. Experience of world’s cities using these presentations, are extremely positive, because, besides information of citizens, great benefits have tourists as well as business people visiting certain city, because by this application they can obtain all necessary information that would make their stay more pleasant.
